Team Abyss is first and foremost a team of passionate athletes with a common dream: to become the world’s best freedivers<\/strong>. But there’s more. <\/span><\/p>\n

The team is also keen to use the athletes’ reputation and skills to support eco-conscious<\/strong> projects in line with the team’s values<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

“When I hold my breath and leave the surface of the sea, a whole universe opens up to me. A world of infinite possibilities, where my own limits vanish. I melt into the liquid element and become one with the water<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whatever the objective, my body adapts to it and draws on the resources I need to accomplish my mission. Freediving has enabled me to overcome my weaknesses, by understanding how our bodies and minds work. It helps me feel how strongly and intrinsically connected<\/strong> we are to the ocean<\/strong> and its inhabitants.<\/span><\/p>\n

This fascinating journey<\/strong> is what motivates me to go ever further, to dive ever deeper, both inside myself and at sea.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“I’m one of the best indoor (pool) freedivers in the world. After only 3 years of practice, I became world champion in 2018 in Lignano and broke my first world record<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

I was a top-level gymnast (2002-2005), then a regional climber (2015), and now I’ve tried my hand at freediving.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2020, I turn to the sea and the abyss. I joined the French team in my second year.<\/p>\n

I’m extremely happy to be part of Team Abyss! For me, team spirit is fundamental, and it’s thanks to this that we’ll go on to win even more titles.”<\/p>\n

It wasn’t until I was 30 that I discovered this fascinating world. Before freediving, I travel the globe, meeting new cultures and people. Because I like to pass on<\/strong> my knowledge, I give courses in a variety of disciplines and practice skydiving, motocross, yoga and meditation.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I discovered apnea, I rethought my life<\/strong>. I redefine my personal, sporting and professional goals. I embark on a journey of personal development, shaping a personality that will serve me in the deep as well as on the surface.
